"Thank You" to all of you for the wonderful support you have given the "Places, Please" COTA Campaign for Lara Marsh over the past year. With your help, the campaign has raised over $55,000 to help with transplant-related expenses. So many of you have been there time after time - your support and love have truly been overwhelming! We have two exciting announcements to share with you. First, Lara will celebrate her 40th birthday in April, a monumental milestone for someone with Cystic Fibrosis! And, as a way to express her gratitude for your support, you are cordially invited to stop by the Omaha Community Playhouse lobby anytime between 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 12, for cake and celebrating. It should be a fun, relaxed evening and we hope you can join us! The second announcement is regarding that same evening, "A Breath of Fresh Art," the group who organized last year's fundraising event at UNO, will sponsor a fundraising concert, "Billy's Birthday Bash for Lara." The bash is a one-night-only special performance by Billy McGuigan in the Howard Drew Theatre at the Playhouse. Showtime is 8 p.m. and tickets for the show are just $50. An additional donation of $50 entitles you to a VIP pre-show cocktail reception with Billy McGuigan! How cool is that?!?! Proceeds from the event will go to the "Places, Please" COTA campaign.
